This repository pursues two tracks at once: rewriting SSX Tricky’s game logic in Rust with Bevy, and reverse engineering the executable from the PS2 USA disc. The README labels the rewrite as WIP and does not claim a fully playable build; the visible output is mostly reverse-engineering and patching tooling rather than the game itself.

The reverse-engineering side centers on a Ghidra project with analyzed and named data, alongside decompiler output covering more than seven thousand functions, roughly 2,900 recovered names, and vtable addresses for over 390 classes. A Python patcher overwrites instruction words in the ELF according to mods.json, checking the original values first so it refuses mismatched images.

Patches include unlock-all and a developer debug menu, emitted either as PCSX2 cheat files or patched ISOs. The README states the patches are verified byte-for-byte against the disassembly but have not yet been run in an emulator; the debug menu is described as experimental, and the cheat file is suggested if START freezes or shows nothing. No game assets are included, so users must supply their own disc.
