This is an independently written project introduction, not a reproduction or translation of the README. Documentation permission is unconfirmed or limited in scope. Read the linked repository for the full instructions. Feature and progress claims come from the source documentation and have not been independently playtested here.

This project treats the official WebGL release of Subway Surfers as its reference point and attempts a source-level port using the Rust language and the Bevy engine. The author describes the result as a deterministic, one-to-one reproduction and states that it was produced by reverse-engineering the official web version. The repository does not claim full equivalence with the original, and the actual degree of completion would need to be judged from the code and test results.

The layout separates the port itself from its reference material. The ss_port directory holds the game source, while oracle contains the original web build’s models, textures, sounds and levels, plus recordings and dumps of play sessions used by the tests. The README stresses that the game reads files from oracle at startup, so that folder must not be deleted or moved; this also means the runtime environment has to preserve a particular relative path arrangement.

Controls and build steps are listed in the documentation: arrow keys or WASD to move, Space for the hoverboard, Esc to pause and R to restart, with cargo commands for running and testing. The first build compiles the engine and takes several minutes. These features and behaviors are claims made by the README and have not been independently verified here; the project’s status and playability should be judged from an actual build.
