xenia-mcp is a Node.js MCP server that lets an AI assistant access the memory of a game running inside Xenia, the Xbox 360 emulator. Because Xenia reserves the console’s 4 GB guest address space as a single block within its own process, a guest address can be translated as a host base plus offset. The server attaches to the Xenia process through Windows debugging APIs and derives that base by locating the game’s executable image, which a 360 title loads at 0x82000000. This approach is intended to work with a stock Xenia build rather than a patched one.
The toolset covers memory reads and writes, hex dumps, big-endian scalar and vector reads, string reads, pointer-chain following, wildcard byte-pattern searches, committed-region listing, snapshots with diffs, and value freezing. For the GTA IV port, additional helpers map an address to a function in an index and to its decompiled C. The README states these tools are exposed over stdio and that tests run against a fake Xenia process.
A key limitation is that breakpoints, register inspection, and stepping are not yet supported; the README describes these as a planned second part requiring a debug server built into Xenia. Some feature descriptions are README claims and depend on the specific game build and environment. The project is MIT-licensed and under development.
